The project has made a significance influence on the government policy programmes. The Integrated Mountian Initiative (IMI), New Delhi has presented the success story of the EB-Project Nature in Legislator’s Dialogue-2018 for Arunachal Pradesh to aware the law makers of the state on Climate Change
The Government of Arunachal Pradesh has adopted EB-Project Nature model for rejuvenation of drying streams and rivers and announced a provision of Rs. 5 crore in Budget 2019-20 to revive 20 numbers of drying spring water sources across the state.
The project has also been recommended by the national Task Force on Jal Jeevan Mission as one of the best practice for water conservation. The project was invited by the Task Force for presentation of the success story.
Experience of EB-Project Nature:
Drying of rivers and spring water sources can be reversed if a concerted effort on water conservation is made.
Conservation of water, soil, forest, bio-diversity and eco-tourism development should be done with integrated approach.
It is not necessary to wait for government funding to do nature conservation projects. Individual or a group of persons can do it if there is determination. Especially villagers can do it themselves to save their own natural resources.
